Mother Nature has blessed Wind Drift Orchards many past years, however, Mother Nature can be very cruel at times in agriculture. On Saturday, April 7th, 2018 the nighttime temperatures reached a low of 24 degrees in Harrah, Oklahoma. Then on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 the nighttime temperatures reached a low of 28 degrees. Due to these hard freezes our peach crop has suffered a significant lose. How significant you ask? We’re not sure yet. What happens from here? We wait. How will this affect our hours of operation for the 2018 season? We will determine this as our remaining fruit ripens. What we do know… Our most up-to-date information will be posted on our Facebook page and website.
